A Unit of Measure defines the standard unit for tracking your inventory, such as ‘each,’ ‘kilogram,’ ‘pound,’ or ‘liter.’ You can also add a new unit if needed.
Create a New Unit of Measure
- Go to Items on the left sidebar, and select Unit of Measure
- Click Add New button in the top right corner.
- On the new warehouse page, fill in the following fields
- Unit: Enter a two-character unit name.
- Description: Enter Uom description like Kilogram.
- Category: Count, Length, Volume, Weight, Time or Other.
