Intro – Sales Team #
Sales team is a group of sales rep who are collectively responsible for selling its products or services and generating revenue. You have to create sales rep records completely before creating sales team. System tracks commissions using either sales rep’s name or team name on the invoice or receipt. You can also specify how to divide team’s commission, either split equally or specific percentage.
Create a New Sales Team #
- Go to Sales Performance on the left sidebar, and select Sales Team
- Click Add New button.
- Fill in the following fields
- Team Name: Enter a unique team’s name. It is up to 30 characters.
- Team Manager: if any
- Split Commission Equally: The team commission is divided equally among all members if this option is selected.
- Sales rep list:
- To add member of the team or sales rep, click ‘Add Line’ button.
- Sales Rep: Select sales rep from drop down list.
- Percent: Enter percentage of commission the sales rep earns if team’s commission is not divided equally.

- Click Save button
Inactive Sales Team #
If you need to remove a sales team from dropdown lists in sales applications (like for invoices) without deleting their record, you can simply mark the team as inactive.
- Go to Sales Performance on the left sidebar, and select Sales Team
- Click or tap on the sales team row you want to edit.
- On the sales team information page, select ‘Inactive‘ checkbox.
- Click Save button.
