The Promotion helps you create and manage marketing campaigns to boost your sales. You can set up promotions with a start and end date, choosing one of three types: discount percentage, discount amount or giveaway. Once a campaign is active, it automatically applies to your sales documents like Quotes, Orders, and Invoices, adding a clear discount or free item line for you. This seamless automation makes executing and tracking your promotions simple and efficient.
Create a New Promotion
- Go to Items on the left sidebar, and select Promotions
- Click Add New button in the top right corner.
- On the new item price page, fill in the following fields
- Campaign Name: Enter a unique campaign name.
- Start Date – End Date: Enter the campaign’s start and end dates to set its duration.
- Description: Put some description.
- Type: Select one of the followings
- Discount Percent: Apply a percentage discount (e.g., 10% off).
- Discount Amount: Offer a fixed dollar amount off (e.g., $5 off).
- Giveaway: Automatically include a free item with a purchase.
- Free Item: Select a giveaway item from dropdown list if promo type is Giveaway.
- Discount Message: Customize the promotional message to show a discount or a giveaway item.
- Promotional Items:
- Click “Add Promotional Item” button and enter following fields
- Item: Select product item.
- Description: Automatically filled when you select an item.
- Click Save button
- Continue adding item until your list is finished.
