Payment Methods

Intro – Payment Methods

Payment Methods allows you to create and manage payment options for all sales and purchase transactions. Common methods like ACH, Cash, Check, EFT, Mastercard, and VISA are already available, but you can add other credit card providers and link them to their appropriate accounts.

Create a New Payment Method

  • Go to Accounts on the left sidebar, and select Payment Methods
  • Click Add New button in the top right corner.
  • On the new method page, fill in the following fields
    • Method: Enter a unique method name.
    • For receiving customer payment (Sales): Select this option if the payment method is used for sales transactions.
    • For buying goods or services (Purchase): Select this option if the payment method is used for purchase transactions.
    • Is Credit Card: if this is a credit card.
    • Bank Account: To link payment method to its corresponding account. (if not credit card)
    • Credit Card Account: To link credit card to its corresponding credit card account.
    • Click Save
