Credit Card Payments

Intro – Credit Card Payments #

Use Credit Card Payments to record a payment you made to your company’s credit card account to reduce the amount you owe.

  • Credit Card Payment is a posting transaction.

Create a New Credit Card Payment #

  • Go to Bank / Credit Card on the left sidebar, and select Credit Card Payments
  • Click Add New button.
  • Fill in the following fields
    • Payment number is an auto generated number.
    • Pay Date: The default date is today.
    • Card Name: Select card name from the dropdown.
    • Card Number: It is auto filled when card name is selected.
    • Merchant: It is a cards’ merchant.
    • Cash/Bank Account: Select the cash or bank account you used to pay the credit card.
    • Amount Paid: Enter the payment amount.
    • Payment Method: Cash, Check, EFT or even ACH.
    • Click Save
