Intro – Daily Expense #

Daily Expense offers a simple way to record your business expenses and their amounts. No approval is needed, as all expenses are posted upon saving. It is ideal for freelancers or small businesses with just a few people.

  • Daily Expense is a posting transaction.
  • You can mark the expense as billable to charge a customer later.

Create a New Daily Expense #

  • Go to Employee on the left sidebar, and select Daily Expenses
  • Click Add New button in the top right corner.
  • On the Add New expense page, fill in the following fields
    • Expense number is an auto generated number.
    • Date: default is today.
    • Employee: Leave this field empty if the expense is not associated with a specific employee, such as a utility bill.
    • Cash/Bank/Credit card Account: Select the account to use for payment.
    • Expense Account: Select the account used to track the expense.
    • Description: Enter the purpose or details of the expense, up to 300 characters.
